​Ashland, MA singer/songwriter Taylor Carson began her musical journey nearly 9 years ago when she joined the St. Cecilia’s Youth Choir.  She joined the Ashland Mindess School band in fourth grade, learning the flute and also became part of the school choir.  Taylor has been a part of the St. Cecilia’s and Ashland school choirs ever since and is heading into her Junior year at Ashland High School this Fall as a key member of the AHS Women’s Select Chamber Chorus.

At the age of 12 Taylor picked up an acoustic guitar and started learning to play a wide range of songs from the radio.  She has performed around the metrowest area at numerous open mic venues, Stone’s in Ashland and has provided entertainment for local variety shows, fundraising events and as part of her dance school’s recital performances.

Influenced by her musical and life experiences, Taylor’s performances are a blend of guitar and piano-based original songs and unique acoustic renditions of popular songs from the charts of yesterday and today.
